It is important that consumers understand their O2 network coverage as this will determine how much usage consumers can get from their mobile. The O2 Coverage Checker will then show a map of the area of the postcode entered, with blue, orange and white colours over the top. The blue means that consumers get a good indoor and outdoor coverage. The orange means that consumers can expect a good indoors service whilst the white areas on the map show that the coverage outside is good.
When checking your O2 coverage, O2 gives you the option of checking either the voice, text, email an data coverage you can expect, or mobile internet coverage. It also states whether the coverage is good outside or inside to ensure you know exactly what you’re getting.
Also on the O2 Coverage Checker, consumers can see Wifi hotspots, masts and search places which gives consumers more information on what service they can expect.
